KinderSmart is an attendance tracking solution designed for iPhones catered to parents who drop off their children at childcare facilities. The application seamlessly integrates with the KinderSystems KinderConnect backend system, a platform utilized by state and local governmental bodies to streamline subsidized childcare operations.

The registration process involves scanning a QR code using the parent's iPhone. The parent must be registered in the KinderConnect host database to proceed. Upon arrival at the childcare facility, the parent further authenticates themselves by scanning a designated QR code displayed on-site, effectively logging them into the system.

The childcare check-in and check-out process in KinderSmart resembles the traditional method of signing in with pen and paper, a familiar routine for most parents.

Step 1 – Child Selection:
After scanning the site's QR code, the user is presented with a list of children assigned to them for selection.

Step 2 - Transaction:
The user manages check-in, check-out, or absence transactions by tapping corresponding buttons on the interface identifying each child's status. Post selection, the user finalizes the process by providing a digital signature and submitting the record by tapping 'Submit'.

Step 3 - Confirmation:
Upon submission, the system promptly confirms the transaction.

Summary:
In just a few seconds, a proficient user can swiftly complete the authentication process, capturing essential data points including the user's name, signature, transaction time, transaction location, and detailed attendance records for each child featuring transaction types and optional notes.
